Terms & Conditions

Private Paint Parties

By booking a paint party with Modern Party Art LLC, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

General Booking and Capacity

  • Adult parties require a minimum booking for 10 painters with a $150 deposit, which covers two painters and the service fee.

  • Children's parties require a $300 deposit, covering 8 painters.

  • The maximum number of painters is 45. Non-painting guests should not exceed the number of painters.

  • Total event capacity is 80 guests, with seating available for 50.

  • Modern Party Art LLC is ADA compliant and fully insured.

 

Event Duration and Payment

  • Adult parties last for 3 hours; children's parties for 2 hours.

  • Adult parties include 1.5-2 hours of painting time, and the rest is for party activities.

  • Kids' parties include 1-1.5 hours of painting time and 30-45 minutes for party activities.

  • All payments must be completed at least 7 days prior to your event.

  • No refunds are available once payment is made.

  • We do not accept cash or checks.

 

Special Conditions for Age and Attendance

  • Painters should be at least 4 years old to paint independently. Younger children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Please walk while inside the studio to ensure safety.

  • Children must be supervised, as there are art supplies not suitable for all ages.

 

Refreshments and Utensils

  • We don’t provide fridge use. Bring your own cooler, ice, and eating utensils.

  • In emergency situations, we can provide cups for drinking.

 

Paint and Apparel

  • We predominantly use non-toxic, student-grade acrylic paint.

  • Dress for a mess, especially at children's events.

 

Customization and Pain​ting Surfaces

  • We offer various painting surfaces at different price points.

  • For pre-printed canvases, requests must be made at least 14 days in advance.

 

Special Needs and Accommodations

  • Our studio is ADA compliant. For visually impaired or physically disabled guests, please inform us for proper accommodations, such as canvases with thicker lines and additional lighting.

 

Music and Entertainment

  • Create your playlist on Spotify or Apple Music, or let us know your preferred genre from our extensive playlist collection.

 

Decor and Event Timing

  • The host and a few helpers are granted 30 minutes prior to the event to set up decor and bring in food and drinks.

  • A 15-minute grace period is allowed after your event for wrapping up.

 

Conduct and Liabilities

  • Modern Party Art LLC reserves the right to ask anyone overly intoxicated to cease alcohol consumption and leave the premises if needed.

  • Alcohol may only be sold if a permit from the town of Canton is obtained.

  • If you encounter any issues, please inform us promptly for immediate resolution.

  • Absolutely no confetti, glitter, hate language, or smoking is permitted in the studio.

 

  • Parking and Venue Access

  • Guests may not park in our driveway; please use designated parking lots.

  • A 15-minute idle time in the driveway is permitted for loading and unloading.

 

Traveling Paint Parties

  • Hosts must provide tables, chairs, table cloths, an electrical outlet for our speakers and mic, and running water for cleaning brushes.

  • Traveling paint parties must start promptly. No refunds will be given if the party starts more than 15 minutes late.

  • All art supplies are included in your fees.
