Booking and Payment

Online Booking: All bookings are subject to availability and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pricing: The price per hour for booking the space is dependent on what you are charging for ticket sales for your event.

Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of 20% of the total booking cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be refunded if the studio is returned to its original state after the event.

Cleaning Fees: A non-refundable cleaning fee is applicable for all bookings. The fee is $50 for events booked from Monday to Thursday and $100 for events booked from Friday to Sunday, as well as on all holidays.

Balance Payment: For weekends and major holidays, the remaining balance is due 30 days before the event date. For all other bookings, the balance is due 14 days before the event date.

Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit or debit card only. We do not accept cash or checks.

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

By the Host: Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 30 days in advance to receive a refund or credit of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

 

Amenities and Equipment

Included Amenities: You may use our Bluetooth speaker system, screen mirroring 65" TV, and freezer at no additional cost. Fridge use is not available; please bring your own cooler and ice.

Additional Equipment: For any additional equipment or specific amenities, please inform us in advance. Additional charges may apply.

 

Loyalty Discounts

We value our community of artists, performers, and educators. Enjoy a $50 discount on every 3rd booking as a token of our appreciation for your continued trust in Modern Party Art.

 

Conduct and Liability

• Alcohol: The sale of alcohol at the event is strictly prohibited unless the Host has obtained a permit from the Town of Canton.

• Prohibited Behavior: We do not allow any racial, prejudiced, or hate language, paraphernalia, or smoking inside the building.

• Parking: No parking is allowed in the driveway. A 15-minute idle time is permitted for unloading and reloading. All cars must be parked in one of the three designated parking lots, which have over 80 spots available.

• Building Access: Do not enter or explore areas of the building not designated for your event.

• Clean-Up: All trash must be removed and tied up at the end of the event. Any spills must be swept and mopped up.

• Staff Presence: A staff member of Modern Party Art LLC will be on the premises at all times.

• Marketing Material: All promotional material must be submitted to us for approval before publicizing the event. You must also state that you are not professionally affiliated with Modern Party Art LLC and may not use our logo without permission.

• Pricing Structure: You must abide by the pricing structure agreed upon during the booking process. Any changes must be communicated to us before publicizing.

• Liability: Modern Party Art LLC is not liable for any lost, stolen, or broken items belonging to the Host or vendors, unless it is due to our negligence.

• Artwork: Do not touch any artwork displayed on the walls.

• Insurance: Hosts are required to provide their own insurance for the event. If you do not have insurance, you must seek daily insurance, as Modern Party Art LLC is not liable for any incidents that occur during your event, unless due to our negligence.

• No Loitering: Police take notice if you are on the premises past 12 am.

• Security Surveillance: There is security surveillance inside and outside of the building 24/7.

• Pricing Violations: If you change the prices that we set your fee based on, you will be obligated to pay the balance plus a fine of $250, lose your security deposit, and be banned from renting the space for any reason ever again.

• Violations and Fines: If you bend or disregard any of our terms and conditions, there will be a fine that Modern Party Art LLC finds reasonable for any damages and rule-breaking, as well as forfeiture of your deposit.

 

Promotion and Marketing

Approval: All promotional materials mentioning Modern Party Art LLC must be approved in advance.

Affiliation: You must state that you are not professionally affiliated with Modern Party Art LLC and may not use our logo without permission.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, US.

By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
